Microsoft Security Specialist

A leading enterprise is seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Specialist to join its Information Security Department. This is a high-impact role involving the implementation, maintenance, and hardening of Microsoft-based security solutions in a complex and sensitive enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions: EDR, antivirus, firewall, NAC, SIEM, and email security tools
• Operate and maintain Microsoft security technologies, including Azure AD, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud, and Intune
• Respond to and investigate real-time security incidents, including documentation and root cause analysis
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) and privileged access management (PAM) systems
• Perform ongoing endpoint hardening in alignment with corporate security policies
• Contribute to the development of enterprise security policy and governance
• Collaborate with internal departments including IT, infrastructure, communications, and SOC teams

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing complex Microsoft environments in medium to large organizations - Must
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Intune, and Group Policy (GPO) - Must
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender security suite, F5, - Must
• Experience in system hardening based on frameworks such as CIS, ISO, and NIST
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting - Must
• EDR, FIREWALL, DEFENDER, F5, DLP, WAF - Must
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos), permissions models, and single sign-on (SSO)
• Ability to write and interpret technical documentation in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Background in incident response or security operations
• Relevant certifications: SC-300, AZ-500, or Microsoft Security Fundamentals
