Vice President Research And Development

We are looking for an experienced and strategic VP of R&D to lead a growing, global engineering organization. This role oversees all R&D domains – backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, architecture, and data science – and is responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS environments, deep technological expertise, and proven success in scaling and managing distributed R&D teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a global and Israeli-based engineering organization across multiple disciplines
• Set the R&D strategy in alignment with product and business objectives
• Own the end-to-end delivery of a scalable SaaS platform, including system architecture, infrastructure, and development processes
• Oversee microservices-based architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
• Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability within the team
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and execution
• Establish and monitor engineering KPIs and development methodologies
• Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior R&D leadership positions
• Proven track record managing global and distributed engineering teams in SaaS companies
• Deep understanding of modern system architecture, DevOps, cloud environments, and scalable infrastructures
• Hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
