OGS Alumni Programs Coordinator
Location: Israel
We are seeking an engaged and hands-on team member to support the growth and
cohesion of our OGS alumni community. Reporting to the CEO, the Alumni Programs
Coordinator will develop, coordinate, promote, and evaluate events and programs that
deepen Fellowship bonds and strengthen alumni engagement. This Israel-based role works
closely with the Alumni Programs Manager (also based in-region) and collaborates across
departments to advance the organization’s mission.
Primary responsibilities include:
Relationship Building, Communication & Information Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni across the region.
- Communicate regularly with alumni (newsletters, emails, phone calls, in-person
check-ins, etc.)
- Manage and maintain a high-quality alumni database with up-to-date contact
details, career updates, and event participation records.
Community Engagement & Event Coordination
- Plan and implement alumni events aimed at facilitating connections among alumni;
Includes virtual and in-person reunions, networking gatherings, retreats, and
community-building programs.
- Encourage and support alumni-led initiatives by providing logistical and operational
assistance as needed.
- Collect and integrate alumni feedback to better understand community needs and
interests.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with the Alumni Programs Manager as well as with the CEO, Fellowship
Director, Operations Manager, and other departments to ensure alignment of
alumni efforts with organizational goals; contribute to overall alumni engagement
strategy.
- Coordinate with other teams on joint efforts such as recruitment, development, and
communications to strengthen alumni visibility and impact.
Fellowship Recruitment Support
- Assist with regional outreach and candidate identification for US-based Fellowship
program.
- Help identify and integrate alumni voices and programs into Fellowship activities and
planning.
- May include travel to the US, particularly during the summer months.
Qualifications
● 3-5 years of experience in alumni engagement, program coordination, or
community-building roles.
● Proficient in Professional English and Hebrew.
● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree a plus.
● Deep understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian context, including history and current
realities.
● Previous experience in alumni relations, event planning, and the entrepreneurship
space is preferred.
● Excellent skills in: communication, organization, interpersonal dynamics, and
networking. Experience in facilitation a plus.
● Proficient in relevant technology and CRM systems (Google Drive, Salesforce is a
plus).
● Creative problem-solver and adaptable thinker with a passion for alumni and
community engagement.
● A team player, working across diverse teams; experience working with teams that
span time zones a plus.
● Experience with non-profits a plus.
● A genuine commitment to fostering peace, connection, and prosperity across the
region.
This position will be based in Israel and may include up to 10% travel to the US.
