About the Role:

• Part of a newly formed group focused on Search and Matching
• Owns AI-related initiatives across the organization
• Builds infrastructure for Machine Learning and Data Science
• Operates independently within the company
• Works end-to-end from research to production

Emphasizes strong engineering practices:

• Feature engineering
• Model evaluation
• Model deployment
• Model monitoring
• Writing production-grade code

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist – Required
• Experience with predictive and probabilistic models, NLP algorithms, classification models, and search and recommendation techniques – Required
• Expertise in Recommendation, Search, Matching, or Retrieval systems – Required
• Proficiency in Python – Required
• Relevant Master's degree from a recognized university – Required
• Experience in e-commerce – Advantage
