Responsibilities
As a ML researcher you will:
- Research mathematical and machine learning models used for detecting opportunities in markets, predicting market behavior, and quantifying risk
- Devise, implement and improve algorithms to benefit from these opportunities.
- Collaborate with other researchers and engineers on the deployment of strategies in live trading
- Come up with automated methods to continuously monitor strategies in the real world and optimize their performance over time
- Contribute to the company's data strategy, research platform and tools
Requirements
- Summa cum laude B.Sc. in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning / deep learning / data mining / statistical research / algorithmic research
- Great analytical problem-solving skills
- Good software engineering capabilities
- A creative, innovative, self-learning, independent pro
- A team player and good communicator that empowers others and is eager to learn and collaborate
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience performing data science in Python
- Strong programming experience in a leading language, especially for large-scale, distributed, low latency systems
- Experience with quantitative finance, trading strategies or systems
- Background in blockchain infrastructure or applications, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, etc.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS.
