Responsibilities

As a ML researcher you will:

• Research mathematical and machine learning models used for detecting opportunities in markets, predicting market behavior, and quantifying risk
• Devise, implement and improve algorithms to benefit from these opportunities.
• Collaborate with other researchers and engineers on the deployment of strategies in live trading
• Come up with automated methods to continuously monitor strategies in the real world and optimize their performance over time
• Contribute to the company's data strategy, research platform and tools

Requirements

• Summa cum laude B.Sc. in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning / deep learning / data mining / statistical research / algorithmic research
• Great analytical problem-solving skills
• Good software engineering capabilities
• A creative, innovative, self-learning, independent pro
• A team player and good communicator that empowers others and is eager to learn and collaborate

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Experience performing data science in Python
• Strong programming experience in a leading language, especially for large-scale, distributed, low latency systems
• Experience with quantitative finance, trading strategies or systems
• Background in blockchain infrastructure or applications, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, etc.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS.
