Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality that utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel.

Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other types of solid cancers.

Our R&D center is located in Haifa, Israel. Here we combine pre-clinical and clinical research, engineering development- Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Physics, Algorithms, Materials and etc.

We are looking for highly motivated and energetic professional students for a part-time position/ advanced degree students to join one of our teams in our R&D center.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Qualifications:
  
  

Bachelor's degree student preferably in Medical/ Life science/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Computer science /Software/ Mechanical engineering/ Materials engineering/ Industrial engineering/Biomedical engineering

• Balance of studies of at least 2 years
• Available for at least 18 weekly hours
  
  

OR

advanced degree students, preferably in Life science / Biology/ Biotechnology/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Computer science / Software/ Mechanical engineering/ Materials engineering/ Biomedical engineering

• Available for full-time position
• Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to changes
• Ability to self-manage and take initiative
• Team player - capable of working in a global & multi-disciplinary environment
