Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization (VMware ESXi & vSAN), cloud platforms (Azure & AWS), enterprise storage, and Microsoft-based infrastructure. This position involves managing, maintaining, and evolving a hybrid IT environment that supports business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware ESXi and vSAN environments.

• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS platforms.

• Manage enterprise storage systems, including provisioning, performance tuning, and lifecycle operations.

• Administer and support Microsoft infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.

• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

• Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades.

• Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date with patches and best practices.

• Document systems, processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.

• Hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi and vSAN.

• Solid experience with Microsoft technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server).

• Strong working knowledge of Azure and AWS environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, etc.).

• Experience with monitoring, automation, and scripting tools (PowerShell preferred).

Preferred Certifications (a plus):

• VMware VCP (vSphere / vSAN)

• Microsoft Azure Administrator / Architect

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps

• Microsoft MCSA/MCSE (legacy) or equivalent

• Storage vendor certifications
