Position Overview:
The role offers a unique opportunity to join an innovative team actively involved in the complete lifecycle of power products, from initial development to final manufacturing.
As a Practical Engineer in Component Engineering, you will play a vital role in shaping tomorrow’s technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for component engineering within the R&D department.
- Identification, testing, qualification, and approval of new and alternative electronic components.
- Tracking, identifying, and replacing obsolete components (OBS).
- Close collaboration with the R&D component engineering group and cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Planning, and Manufacturing.
- Gaining extensive expertise in electronic components and their functional roles within power systems.
- Operating and maintaining specialized engineering and laboratory equipment used in testing and validating components and power supplies.
- Preparing detailed technical reports, conducting technical comparisons, and managing component obsolescence effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Practical Engineer diploma in Electronics.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Proven experience managing component obsolescence – highly advantageous.
- Previous experience with power supplies – advantage.
- Proficiency in technical English, both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, measurement equipment, and laboratory tools.
- Strong command of MS Office tools for report generation and data analysis.
- Creative thinker, innovative mindset, and strong teamwork capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability for self-learning, adaptability to tight schedules, and high levels of responsibility and dedication.
