Research and Development Project Manager

A Start-UP Company seeking an experienced and highly motivated R&D Project Manager to manage the development of innovative medical devices, and regenerative medicine solutions. The successful candidate will be actively engaged in hands-on research and development activities to drive new product development from concept to commercialization, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage R&D projects related to the development of medical devices in the field of regenerative medicine, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Actively participate in the design, development, prototyping, and testing of the product under development

• Supervise and conduct hands-on laboratory work, including formulation development, material characterization, mechanical testing, and biological assessments to ensure product performance

• Supervise activities related to preclinical studies and analytical methods development.

• Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.

• Prepare comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external audiences

• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and execution strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• PhD in Bioengineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Biology or any other related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharma or medical device development

• Strong knowledge of biomaterials, chemistry, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine applications.

• Extensive hands on laboratory and prototyping experience, including fabrication, processing, and in vitro testing of biomaterials and devices.

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical/medical device project management, understanding the design control process or IND/NDA process Proficiency in project management tools and software

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Attention to details, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
