Senior ML Engineer

We are looking for an exceptional machine learning engineer to play a central part in building cutting-edge AI for healthcare.

As a senior member of our R&D team, you will take a leading role in building and designing our core product - a personalized AI researcher for complex medical cases. Your role will encompass design, development and deployment of agent-based AI applications, ML & data infrastructure and pipelines, and work with both proprietary and public medical data.

Working closely with medical domain experts, you will have an exciting opportunity to apply your technological expertise to advancements in healthcare and the treatment of complex medical cases.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of multiple core AI components in our company, drawing on your deep expertise in engineering and AI
• Build and maintain our data & ML infrastructure and pipelines
• Develop agent-based AI systems and evaluation methods that leverage our proprietary medical data and the available continuous feedback of medical domain experts
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to fellow team members through code reviews, design discussions and hands-on collaboration.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, medical experts and product stakeholders in the company

Requirements:

• A BSc or higher in a STEM field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of experience in R&D positions - preferably in ML engineering or within data/ML product teams
• Extensive experience with Python and data science/ML frameworks
• Recent knowledge, familiarity, and working experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and relevant tools - preferably also with multi-agent architectures
• Understanding and familiarity with Transformers, fine-tuning, and evaluation methods. Preferably also recent hands-on experience

Main tech stack: Python, langgraph, Pinecone, MongoDB, AWS, various LLMs (Llama, Mistral, OpenAI, Anthropic)
