About Us:

We are a recruiting firm representing a VC-funded tech startup looking to hire an experienced individual in the games industry who can help commercialize their product. This individual likely comes from a games platform or studio or a software company that has sold into games platforms or studios.

Summary:

This will likely be a fractional executive role advising the CEO for 5-20 hours per week, primarily on market entry strategy. In a part-time arrangement, the company is alright with the hire having employment elsewhere, provided it is not super competitive.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product, marketing, and finance teams
Partner with CEO and investors on corporate strategy
Develop and implement pricing strategy
Identify new business opportunities, including emerging channels (e.g., Discord, Telegram, AI)

Requirements:

5+ YOE in the gaming industry, including at least 2 in the mobile gaming industry
Prior experience in a C-suite at a games company or in a strategic or business
