Junior Financial Controller

A leading financial management firm serving public and tech companies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to support cutting-edge public and technology companies (can be a hybrid work with flexible hours).

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements under IFRS (quarterly and annual)

Reporting to the board of directors and regulatory authorities

Development and monitoring of financial models and KPIs

Budget and cash flow management

Monthly closing and ongoing reporting

Oversight of bookkeeping and internal controls

Responsibility for payroll processes, option grants, and additional financial operations

Close collaboration with the CFO and CEO

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience at a Big 4 firm – advantage

Over 3 years of experience as a controller in a public or global technology company – advantage

Proven experience preparing IFRS financial statements (quarterly and annual)

Experience preparing tax reports, management reports, and presentations for financial reporting

Annual budgeting and ongoing monitoring experience

Strong proficiency in Excel

Advantage for candidates with additional financial experience or involvement in capital raising processes
