Backend Developer (Python Django)

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust server-side applications using Django and Python. You will work collaboratively with frontend developers and other team members to create seamless web applications for our CRM platform.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with code reviews, agile methodologies, and team-based planning.
• Capable of working independently and taking full ownership of features.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing practices.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Django and Python.
• Deep knowledge of the Django ORM, complex QuerySets, custom annotations, and query optimization.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries and managing schema migrations.
• Experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, and asynchronous workflows.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with Django Channels and managing WebSocket connections.
• Awareness of web security best practices (authentication, authorization, CSRF, CORS, etc.).
• Skilled in writing unit and integration tests, with a solid understanding of test isolation and mocking.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, or other modern auth flows.
• Experience with Docker and container-based development or deployments.
• Exposure to frontend integration (e.g., React, or working alongside frontend teams).
• Understanding of Django middleware, custom error handling, and structured logging.
• Experienced in writing and maintaining clean, structured technical documentation.
