System Administrator

We're looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join the team! If you have strong hands-on expertise with Windows/Linux servers, VMware, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), automation scripting, and a passion for improving infrastructure and system reliability — we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

• Overall management and monitoring of the company's server and storage infrastructure, on-site and in the Cloud.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Providing Tier-3 IT support to different business units within the company.
• Provide solution to any complex IT related challenges in the organization.
• Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.
• Work alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions.
• Adopt DevOps practices to drive the use of automation to simplify routine tasks.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes, automation of time-consuming tasks and examine new technologies to improve end user experience.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x installation, management, design and implementation – Must!
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with Windows 2016/2019/2022 servers, and various Linux distributions: CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu installation and administration.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with server environments of up to 100 physical servers.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with managing, maintaining and monitoring a Microsoft server infrastructure, including services such as Active Directory, GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with storage devices NAS/SAN: NetApp, QNAP, FreeNAS.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS Cloud, including launching and managing EC2 instances, configuring VPC, working with AMI’s and administering S3 Storage.
• Hands-on experience with managing Azure Active Directory, O365, Exchange, SharePoint.
• Hands-on experience with managing Mac (iOS/Apple), JAMF (or another Apple MDM).
• Proven Scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Bash, Batch).
• Proven experience in project management, integration of technologies and services in mid-large company.
• High level troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – Must!

Advantages:

• Hands-on experience with Backup and DR technologies, specifically with VEEAM backup and replication.
• Experience with automation technologies such as VMware vRealize and VMware vRO.
• Experience with VMC.
• VCP / CCNA / MCSE Certifications.
