VP Finance for a Venture Capital Firm

A leading venture capital firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VP Finance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific experience in fund accounting, preferably within the VC or private equity space.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing quarterly financial results across multiple entities
• Overseeing financial reporting across jurisdictions (Israel, US, UK, Cayman Islands)
• Managing cash flow and liquidity across funds and family office accounts
• Leading GAAP-based valuations
• Coordinating tax, audit, and compliance processes
• Maintaining and improving financial systems
• Collecting data and providing high-level reporting on portfolio companies (budgets, KPIs, etc.)
• Strengthening financial controls and internal procedures
• Leading process improvements and providing training to stakeholders
• Supporting strategic projects and ad-hoc requests

Requirements:

• CPA with Big 4 background + at least 2 years post-internship experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA is a plus)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Dynamo – a plus
• Prior experience in VC, private equity, or family office – an advantage
• International work experience is a plus
