Automation Developer with DevOps Expertise

We’re looking for an Automation Developer who brings a strong DevOps mindset and skillset to join the ML group at AFSL. This is a hands-on role focused on building, maintaining, and automating infrastructure and processes that support advanced machine learning development and data acquisition systems.

What will you do?

• Develop automation tools and infrastructure for ML environments (production & development)
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Build and maintain Docker environments
• Automate system setups, deployments, and configurations (Linux & Windows)
• Support ML teams with automation for data collection and algorithm workflows
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Learn and work closely with memory systems and ML pipelines

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university – must
• 2+ years of experience in automation development with a strong DevOps background
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows environments
• Familiarity with ML workflows and environments – a plus

Bonus points for:

• Docker experience
• MLOps frameworks
• NoSQL (MongoDB), PostgreSQL experience
• Experience working across both Linux and Windows systems
