Computer Vision and AI Student Position

Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Student Algorithms Engineer to support research and development in our Computer Vision group. You’ll work side-by-side with seasoned algorithm engineers and software developers, helping turn cutting-edge ideas into production-ready code.

This is a part-time position based in our Rehovot office and requires a minimum of two on-site workdays per week. Candidates should have at least three semesters remaining before completing their studies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Research of state-of-the-art algorithms in computer vision and sensor fusion to solve real-world perception challenges
• Validate neural-network models - design test cases, run quantitative benchmarks, and analyze failure modes
• Collect, label, and preprocess multimodal datasets (RGB, IR, depth, radar), ensure data quality and class balance for training
• Develop automation scripts/pipelines, for data ingestion, training orchestration, and experiment tracking
• Participate in laboratory and experimental activities, including setup and data collection

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with deep learning and computer vision Python libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, Scikit-learn or similar libraries
• Git experience is a plus
• Having done hands-on projects is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
