Technical Product Manager – eCommerce & System Integrations

One of our clients, a leading global eCommerce provider, is looking to hire a technically-oriented Product Manager to lead complex, integration-driven product initiatives. This company specializes in developing scalable commerce infrastructure and platform-based solutions, with a strong international presence and a dynamic product-driven culture.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in complex system integrations, especially across major eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Magento. This role is well-suited for someone with a firm grasp of backend infrastructure, payments, logistics, and compliance in a global context. The position involves translating intricate business needs into scalable, technically sound solutions and seeing them through the full product lifecycle — from ideation and specification to go-to-market execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead integration strategies between eCommerce platforms and internal systems related to payments, tax, shipping, and logistics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and professional services teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Create detailed technical specifications and product requirement documents while balancing platform constraints and API limitations.
• Analyze product performance using KPIs, A/B testing, and other data-driven methodologies.
• Oversee product development from conception through launch, ensuring alignment with global infrastructure and compliance standards.
• Interface with external vendors such as PSPs, tax authorities, and logistics partners to manage backend integrations.
• Drive platform and infrastructure-level innovation that goes beyond out-of-the-box capabilities.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation.
• Proven success working with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce.
• Experience with cross-border commerce or B2C eCommerce ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, payment systems, tax compliance, and logistics.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in software development or system design.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions with R&D, architects, and tech leads.
• Skilled at product development within the constraints of third-party APIs and SDKs.
• Excellent written and spoken English to collaborate with global teams.
