Building is a data-driven information system dedicated to normalising and extracting insights from unstructured built world data (not construction). We are centralising the Built World Data into a single brain, to predict projects, create an AI assistant along project creation, destigmatise failure in an industry rooted in repetitions, create collective, retained intelligence in an unstandardised, siloed industry.

Two co-founders with non-technical background are looking for the technical founder to join as CTO: So far, we've: raised F&F, clients, LOIs, POC with extract database, extraction codes, advisory board, 100+ interviews, market validation, ideation, concept, POC and feature development. Equity stake and competitive salary included, join officially after SEED funding. Starting by this summer. Visa sponsorship is available as part of our recruitment package (can get settlement status after 4 years). Starting this summer.

1. Technical & Engineering Expertise

• MUST HAVE STRONG BACKGROUND IN DATA
• Data engineering mastery (ETL pipelines, data normalisation)
• Full stack development skills (backend systems, dashboards, analytics)
• Proficiency in integrating unstructured data into standardised databases
• Experience designing scalable, automated solutions from scratch to product
• Experience in data engineering, analysis and science.
• Bonus experience in ML and NLP is preferred.
• Background in companies handling complex, unstructured data (e.g., Explorium, Palantir)

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Proven track record as a tech lead, experience in startups
• Ability to build and manage small, functional technical teams
• Strong skills in leading and scaling a complicated technical product, iterate quickly.
• Easy communication with non-technical founders and stakeholders and team
• Ability to contribute to start-up beyond technical needs, think outside the box.
