Project Engineer

Main missions:

Lead Pre-sale engineering process for large-scale irrigation projects including pumping stations, bulk water delivery systems and irrigation systems.

Integrating all engineering disciplines such as Infield design, hydraulics, agronomy, E&M, piping, E&C, civil [roads, drains, reservoirs, canals, etc.] to allow optimal tailor-made solution to our clients.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Support the division as an engineering authority and help develop opportunities
• Full responsibility for the technical solution, including:
• Data collection, surveys, site visits, reports
• Hydraulics, mechanical, E&C and civil solutions
• Scope of work, workplans and technical deliverables [drawings, sections, BOQ, Technical specifications, method statement]
• Concept, general and detail Design
• Technical proposal submission
• Internal Interfaces – Business units, engineering department, purchasing, logistics
• External interfaces – Client, consultants, engineering firms
• Develop technical infrastructure and documentation, including:
• R&R, SOW, BOD, Method statement
• Feasibility studies & Economical evaluations, and tenders

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications:

· BSc. Engineering, [Civil, Mechanical]

· At least 3 years' experience in similar projects. (agriculture background advantage)

· Proficiency with CAD and GIS environment

· Motivated, self-learning, analytical, with great attention to details

· Team player with good interpersonal skills

· Proficient in English
