Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to lead applied research in machine learning and drive the AI transformation across Plus500. This pivotal role will shape the next generation of customer-facing products and internal tools, helping to redefine the trading experience through advanced AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM evaluation frameworks to assess and integrate new AI models, techniques, and parameters.
• Build end-to-end GenAI workflows including synthetic dataset creation, preprocessing, model development, and deployment.
• Evaluate and integrate state-of-the-art AI models and technologies, staying ahead of industry trends.
• Design and build AI agents to automate critical workflows.
• Optimize AI-user interactions through prompt engineering and retrieval strategies.
• Apply research findings into practical, scalable tools for customer-facing and internal applications.
• Conduct data analysis and define metrics to evaluate AI performance and impact.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and global R&D teams to drive innovation across products.
• Develop ML models for time series, regression, and classification problems.
• Design and implement enterprise RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems with LLMs, vector databases, and agents.
• Process and analyze large-scale data from various sources (databases, APIs, documents).
• Apply MLOps and LLMOps best practices for model training, deployment, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise with machine learning techniques: regression, classification, clustering, time series
• Deep interest and foundational knowledge, including hands-on experience with:
• Transfer learning & fine-tuning — adapting large pre-trained models (like GPT, LLaMA, Mistral) to domain-specific tasks.
• LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Chain-of-thought (CoT) prompting
• Designing MCP APIs, Agents, and Multi-Agent Orchestration
• Vector databases (RAG) and GraphRAG-based solutions
• Models for Content Moderation
• Familiarity with MLOps & LLMOps practices — automating model training, testing, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or other relevant programming languages).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
