Product Owner and 4LS On-Call Manager

Job Description

This R&D team is a powerhouse of innovation, blending experienced tech leads with rising junior talent. The team is responsible for a suite of core components that power multiple Advanced Networking (AN) teams through the Analytics Platform (AP) or its specialized modules. More than just developers, the team owns the full lifecycle from technology stewardship to best practices in deploying and scaling these services.

In the short term, the team will concentrate on delivering key projects for our Verizon (VZ) customer as part of the NWDAF solution. A major objective will also be onboarding additional AN teams, enabling them to effectively leverage the Analytics Platform in their data products and solutions.

Looking ahead, the mission is to evolve both the AP and NWDAF components into the foundational ANF Platform — powering next-generation AN data services and products across the organization.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Pre-sales support: Define project milestones and phases based on component and environment readiness. Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, establish trust, and position Nokia’s solution effectively.
• Scope & planning: Contribute to SOW creation, ensuring well-defined scope and technical feasibility. Co-own the delivery plan with the Project Manager — defining phases, risks, dependencies, and change impacts.
• Technical leadership: Own the domain’s technical strategy across the project lifecycle. Lead or guide teams in delivering solution requirements, architecture, integration, and validation plans.
• Customer interface: Act as a trusted technical advisor. Maintain ongoing alignment with the customer on design decisions and lead a smooth, documented handover to operations and CARE teams.
• Performance tracking: Manage delivery KPIs and contribute to monthly business reviews, highlighting technical progress, risks, and achievements.
