About the role:

• Serve as the professional authority on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) matters

• Responsible for overseeing and controlling all AML/CTF-related risks, including developing and assessing the company’s risk profile

• Support and guide new business initiatives or changes to existing business lines to ensure continued regulatory compliance

• Manage a team responsible for:

• Monitoring customer activities across the company

• Reporting to relevant authorities

• Company-wide risk monitoring and anomaly detection

• Data analysis using advanced tools and machine learning technologies

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including monitoring regulatory updates, implementing new requirements, and providing tools for organizational units to apply the policies

• Matrix-manage compliance trustees across business divisions and lead cross-organizational processes involving senior stakeholders

Requirements:

• 1+ years of team management experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or Statistics – an advantage); master’s degree – an advantage

• At least 2 years of experience in the AML/CTF field

• Familiarity with core systems of a large financial institution – a significant advantage

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with multiple interfaces, including senior management

• Proven data analysis skills, anomaly detection capabilities, strong logical thinking, and technological orientation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities

• Strong business understanding, with a broad and systemic view of processes

• Creative thinking, attention to detail, strong reasoning, and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to lead cross-organizational processes
