Financial Controller

We’re hiring a Financial Controller at Vgames!

• We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our core team — someone sharp, hands-on, and excited to take ownership across fund finance and operations. You'll work closely with the partners and play a key role in keeping our fund running smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

• Smart and sharp with strong problem-solving instincts
• A people person – someone who communicates clearly, builds trust, and thrives in meetings
• Adaptable and tech-savvy – not afraid of evolving workflows or learning new tools
• Comfort with legal frameworks – you don’t need to be a lawyer, but you should respect and understand the role of legal in VC
• Someone who genuinely likes games – we invest in the gaming world, and it helps to be excited about the ecosystem we support

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in VC, PE, Big 4, or similar finance/ops environments
• Strong grasp of fund mechanics, financial statements, and capital account logic
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with tools like Airtable or Notion is a bonus
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a clear communicator
• Self-starter with a passion for startups and venture capital
• English proficiency is a must – our day-to-day work and communication is all in English

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing fund financials (quarterly and annual)
• Supporting capital calls, distribution notices, and LP reporting
• Managing fund expenses and coordination with external service providers
• Overseeing compliance and filings
• Assisting with portfolio company data, valuations, and dashboards
• Helping us build scalable internal systems and workflows
