Assistant Controller

We’re looking for a highly motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills, independence and problem-solving individual to join our finance team and take a significant role. The position will report to the company’s Finance Controller.

Responsibilities

• Support in preparation of US GAAP consolidated financial statements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Ensure the Revenue Recognition policy and compliance with ASC 60.
• Ongoing communication and cooperation with other departments to understand, design, and record appropriate financial results.
• Innovate and drive automation initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze financial data and internal reports (especially SaaS data); monitor progress and changes, provide valuable insights.
• Take part in the company’s annual budget process and perform monthly actual vs. budget analysis.
• Ensure compliance with global tax regulations (VAT, US, and global tax, sales tax, transfer pricing etc.), including preparation of annual tax returns.
• Perform controls over billing, collection, revenue recognition, expenses etc.
• Work closely with external auditors and advisors.
• Implementation of internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects as needed.

Your Experience & Skills

• CPA with a Big 4 firm experience – a must.
• 2.5+ years of experience (including internship).
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other formulas).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Great communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent in English - spoken and written.
• Experience as a CPA in a high-tech company - advantage.
