Are you a low-level Android expert passionate about system internals, secure architectures, and building hardened mobile platforms? Ready to take on a hybrid role at the intersection of development and reverse engineering? Join us in crafting next-generation secure Android systems that power real-world innovation.
Role OverviewAs an Android Platform Security Engineer, you will drive the development of advanced low-level Android applications and security tooling. You’ll work on high-impact projects involving Android internals, secure system extensions, and reverse engineering, collaborating closely with a team of elite developers and security researchers.
We offer a hybrid work environment with flexible full-time hours, giving you the freedom to innovate, explore vulnerabilities, and architect robust, secure Android solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and implement low-level Android components (NDK/JNI, AOSP modules, HAL layers, system services).
- Reverse engineer Android apps and frameworks to analyze behavior and security posture.
- Develop advanced security mechanisms: anti-tamper, root/jailbreak detection, and runtime integrity checks.
- Integrate custom system-level features within the Android framework and boot process.
- Build tools for runtime analysis, debugging, and secure communication on mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with security researchers, OS engineers, and backend teams to build secure and high-performance mobile solutions.
- Strong experience with Android internals, AOSP, and custom ROM development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ (NDK), Java/Kotlin, and interfacing via JNI.
- Deep understanding of Android security architecture: SELinux, sandboxing, permissions, and Verified Boot.
- Experience in reverse engineering tools (IDA, Ghidra, Frida, ADB, etc.).
- Familiarity with ARM architecture, memory management, and syscall tracing.
- Ability to analyze and patch APKs and shared libraries.
- 3+ years of experience in low-level mobile development or security research.
- Military or intelligence background in mobile security, cyber, or embedded engineering.
- Experience with custom bootloaders, TrustZone, or secure element integration.
- Familiarity with binary obfuscation, anti-analysis, and runtime instrumentation.
- Contributions to Android ROMs, kernel patches, or security research publications.
- Experience with Ghidra scripts, QEMU-based emulation, or fuzzing frameworks.
