System Engineer

A large and successful company, recognized as a leader in its field, is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Systems Engineer to take ownership of its IT infrastructure — from cloud services to on-site systems, from servers to end-user devices.

In this role, you'll ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations across the organization, while supporting key projects and driving IT innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor complex server, storage, and endpoint environments (on-site & cloud).
• Support and maintain Windows and macOS devices, including user provisioning and patch management.
• Administer and optimize Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and enterprise software.
• Provide Tier-3 IT support to various business units (servers, endpoints, network & cloud).
• Conduct IT audits and proactively address system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with security, DevOps, and product teams to support business and technical goals.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and DevOps practices.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve IT performance, stability, and user experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 6.x/7.x (installation, management, design, implementation) – Must
• Experience managing Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux distros (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu)
• Experience with endpoint management across Windows & macOS environments, including MDM solutions (JAMF or similar)
• Deep understanding of Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP)
• Proven experience with Office 365 administration (AAD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
• Familiarity with NAS/SAN systems (NetApp, QNAP, FreeNAS)
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, AMI, S3) and Azure
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Batch) for automation and task orchestration
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills across teams
