R&D Lab Operator

Quris is a multidisciplinary Bio-AI company tackling some of the world’s greatest challenges in the drug safety domain. We are building the world’s first Bio-AI, ‘patient-of-a-chip’ clinical prediction platform. 

Quris AI seeks a highly motivated and creative R&D Lab Operator to quarterback our multidisciplinary drug-safety prediction system. In this position, you’ll be validating new designs and versions, instructing internal users, and supporting the R&D operations in our labs.

We are a dynamic, collaborative, creative startup with diverse talents and experiences, headquartered in Tel-Aviv, Israel and Boston, Massachusetts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and support our robotic BioPlatform(s) as a lead user
• Integrate and validate new biological applications and protocols
• Validate, characterize, and integrate new software versions for robotics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Student for B.Sc. in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, etc.) - graduation not before summer 2027
• Good familiarity with testing and measurement tools & equipment
• Motivated, self-learner, self-motivated, flexible and able to contribute to several fast-paced projects concurrently
• Availability to work on weekends/nights (shifts)
• Working 3 days a week: 2 mid-week + Friday or Saturday almost every week
• Experience with working in a technological environment
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Great interpersonal skills
• Commitment for employment for at least 12 months 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with biology/biotechnology lab routines 
• Background/experience in scripting (e.g. Python/Bash) and/or Linux 
• Experience with lab robotics 
• Experience in mechanical or sensors integration 
• Experience as a NOC operator
