Part-time Student Position - Food Technologist Assistant

Wanda Fish is a cutting-edge FoodTech startup leading the development of cultivated fish products. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Technologist Assistant (student part-time position) to join our dynamic R&D food team and take part in shaping the future of alternative seafood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work hands-on with our food engineering team on R&D tasks.
• Formulate and optimize matrices as the base for our fish alternative products, focusing on in-depth screening and evaluation of components to improve taste and texture.
• Participate in product characterization, including physical, mechanical, and sensory (organoleptic) assessments.
• Assist in R&D production runs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Food Science, Food Technology, or Food Engineering.
• Availability to work at least two days per week.
• Passion for food development and a strong sensory intuition.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

This is a part-time position located in Rehovot/Ness Ziona Science Park, Israel.
