As part of your role you will develop kernel drivers and share your code with the Linux community.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop Linux kernel drivers and features
Optimize kernel performance and troubleshoot complex issues at the heart of the kernel
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate kernel changes into AWS services
Mentor and support junior developers, sharing your knowledge and experience

Requirements

B.A. / BSc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

At least 8 years of experience in embedded SW development

Strong programming language skills in C, Python, etc

Deep understanding of Linux kernel (drivers, networking, I/O, monitoring)

Experience with HW/SW interfaces

Experience with network driver development and protocols- an advantage

Experience with SoC development life cycle Experience working in Linux environments- an advantage
