DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

As a DevOps Engineer at Sheba, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the

infrastructure and pipeline systems that power our healthcare technology solutions. You'll work

closely with our development team to streamline deployment processes, enhance system

reliability, and ensure secure operations. Your expertise in automation, infrastructure as code,

and CI/CD will help accelerate our delivery of innovative healthcare solutions while maintaining

the high standards required in medical software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment

processes

• Configure and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure as code principles

• Set up and administer Nginx web servers and load balancers for optimal performance

• Implement HashiCorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Consul) to manage infrastructure and

security

• Create and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and orchestration tools

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows and developer

experience

• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance reliability and

scalability

• Implement security best practices and compliance measures for healthcare applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues

• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation

• Proficiency with Nginx configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting

• Experience with HashiCorp ecosystem (Terraform, Vault, Consul)

• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms

• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and workflows

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical

experience)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

• Familiarity with database administration and optimization

• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments

• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for healthcare applications

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

• Understanding of high-availability and disaster recovery strategies

• Experience in small, agile team environments

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and associated infrastructure patterns
