Network Security Engineer

A leading defense company is looking for a skilled and motivated Network and Information Security Specialist.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Network and Information Security Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of cross-organizational projects in the field of communication infrastructure and cybersecurity. This hybrid role (70% networking / 30% cybersecurity) involves both office-based and fieldwork, with occasional opportunities for international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and ongoing maintenance of cross-organizational projects in networking and information security
• Full responsibility for managing systems, performing monitoring and control, troubleshooting, and maintaining network and security products
• Ongoing upgrades and operations of all existing communication and security systems
• Enforcing information security policies, managing user authorizations and access approvals
• Supporting project-related and defense-related systems (weapon systems and related technologies)
• Office-based work with field visits and occasional travel abroad

Requirements:

• Professional certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISO) and networking (CCNA, CCNP) – strong advantage
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in information security and networking within Enterprise or mid-sized organizations – required
• At least 2 years of experience in deploying and maintaining security products such as Check Point and Fortinet – required
• Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies such as IPS, SSL, NAC, NMS, and VPN setup – required
• Experience in planning and deploying Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks – required
• Solid familiarity with Cisco networking equipment – required; knowledge of Juniper switches – advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility, motivation, team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills
