we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Director of Engineering to join our dynamic team.
The Sr. Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, leading multiple teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in managing engineering teams and directors, preferably from major companies in the fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving technological innovation, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing: We’re seeking a technology-driven and people-focused Senior R&D Director to lead our Enterprise products with innovation, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence in a dynamic, complex payment solutions environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end R&D execution for Enterprise products, including Mass Payouts and the Partner Admin Portal, ensuring delivery at scale, security, and performance standards.
• Drive the strategy, vision, and goals for Enterprise products in close collaboration with Product, Business, and Customer Success teams.
• Build the technical roadmap aligned with long-term technology strategy, engineering excellence principles, and business priorities
. • Lead architectural design and decision-making, ensuring robust, scalable, and future-ready systems that support global enterprise clients.
• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, creating a culture of ownership,
accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Foster deep collaboration between global cross-functional teams across Product, Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Security to streamline delivery and operational excellence.
• Establish and monitor engineering KPIs that drive measurable improvements in system reliability, quality, velocity, and customer satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of innovation and personal development, encouraging experimentation, learning, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, and performance for all solutions under your domain, with particular attention to sensitive financial and identity data.

What We’re Looking For:
• A collaborative team player with strong leadership, excellent communication, problem solving skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Ambition and a strong eagerness to learn and adapt.
Your Experience & Skills:
• Education: B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Leadership: 10+ years of managerial experience, leading large development groups or overseeing R&D in small/medium companies (Managing managers).
• Development: 5+ years as a full-stack developer.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency with REST APIs, Queues, Event Driven, and Microservices architecture.
• Architectural Knowledge: Strong knowledge in OOP, design patterns, and system design.
• Engineering Practices: Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and engineering excellence.
