Job Overview

We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Web Systems Analyst to join our growing team. This role requires deep technical expertise and a strong ability to analyze and design complex web-based systems. Candidates with experience or knowledge in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into clear, technical specifications for web-based systems.
• Work closely with development teams to design robust, scalable, and maintainable system architectures.
• Draft detailed documentation, including data models, APIs, workflows, and integration strategies.
• Serve as a bridge between business units and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related field – mandatory.
• 4+ years of proven experience in system analysis for web applications.
• Strong technical background – must be comfortable with software architecture, databases, APIs, and system integrations.
• Practical knowledge of development processes and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful services) – Advantage.
• Advantage: Familiarity or hands-on experience with GIS platforms or spatial data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with diagramming and modeling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Devops).
• Exposure to DevOps environments, cloud infrastructure, or data analytics tools is a plus.
