The Role

As PointFive’s first in-house finance hire, you’ll build the function from the ground up and will oversee financial planning, operations, analysis, and control. This is a unique chance to strengthen our operating model, influence strategy, and execute operations of our fast-paced and expanding organization. You will lead all accounting efforts and be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Oversee all aspects of financial controlling and FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
• Business Partnership: Act as the primary finance partner to Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership to evaluate performance, optimize forecasts, and support data-driven decisions across sales and marketing.
• Mentor budget owners on financial discipline, helping them balance speed with fiscal responsibility. Champion a metrics-driven culture by democratizing access to real-time financial insights.
• Deal Support: Provide financial guidance throughout the deal lifecycle—from initial structuring to contract finalization—including modeling P&L, cash flow, and tax implications.
• Financial Systems: Implement and maintain financial platforms and tools to ensure accuracy, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and timely delivery of accurate consolidated financial statements for both U.S. and Israeli entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee core accounting functions including the general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and tax, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.
• Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations to ensure the company maintains a strong financial position.
• Audit & Compliance: Direct all external audit activities and ensure full compliance with local and international tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Systems Optimization: Continuously improve financial systems and ERP tools to support growth and enhance operational efficiency.
• Automation & Efficiency: Lead efforts to streamline accounting workflows through automation, reducing manual processes and improving data quality and reporting speed.
  
  

• 6 + years in FP&A or strategic finance at high-growth B2B SaaS companies; experience as a first-finance-hire or early-stage builder strongly preferred.
• Mastery of full-company financial models, Board reporting, and SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, magic number, etc.).
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition, equity accounting, and U.S. GAAP.
• Proven track record of implementing scalable processes, systems, and controls.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically
  
  

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, FinOps, or cost-management tooling.
• Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP), Adaptive Planning, and Salesforce.
• Prior involvement in fundraising, debt facilities, or M&A diligence.
