Job Description

Job Summary

As a key member of the Executive Team, the Chief Technical & Information Officer (CTIO) is responsible for defining, driving, and overseeing the technology strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with its business goals and objectives. The CTIO provides visionary leadership for all technical and IT domains, ensuring innovative, sustainable, and efficient operations. This role is critical to delivering exceptional network performance, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Decision-Making:

• Collaborate with the executive team to shape and refine the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives, ensuring they reflect market dynamics and shareholder expectations.
• Drive corporate decision-making processes to maximize the company’s short-term and long-term profitability and shareholder value.
• Lead the development and execution of the company’s Technology and IT roadmap, aligning with overall business goals and market opportunities.
  
  

Technical And IT Expertise

• Provide expert leadership and professional guidance on all matters related to technology, networks, and IT, ensuring the adoption of cutting-edge solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure the development and implementation of robust and scalable strategies for mobile network engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service innovation.
  
  

Policy Development And Governance

• Design and oversee the implementation of policies, frameworks, and procedures that reflect industry best practices, drive operational efficiency, and enable the achievement of business objectives.
• Establish governance structures and KPIs to monitor technical and IT performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  
  

Organization Design And Resource Management

• Develop, propose, and gain agreement on the optimal organizational structure and staffing levels for the Technical and IT divisions to deliver on strategic objectives efficiently and effectively.
• Drive initiatives for workforce development, including recruitment, training, and employee engagement programs to foster a high-performance culture.
  
  

Budgeting And Financial Oversight

• Lead the preparation, approval, and management of the annual Technical and IT budget, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
• Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing justifications for significant deviations.
  
  

Operational Management

• Oversee all aspects of network design, deployment, integration, optimization, and maintenance to deliver high-quality services, maximize revenue potential, and minimize operational costs.
• Direct IT initiatives to ensure seamless integration of technology across the organization, enabling innovation, automation, and process efficiency.
  
  

Risk Management And Business Continuity

• Manage the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical and IT operations, including cybersecurity threats, natural disasters, and system failures.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect company assets, staff, and revenues in crisis scenarios.
  
  

Supplier And Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost optimization.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to achieve the best value for the company while maintaining flexibility and scalability.
  
  

Innovation And Technology Evolution

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, trends, and regulatory developments, evaluating their potential impact and application to the business.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new systems and technologies, enhancing or replacing existing solutions to maintain operational superiority and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Job Requirements
