Job Title: VP Engineering

Location: Tel Aviv, Isarael (on-site)

Wenham Carter Search firm is hiring on behalf of a prominent cybersecurity company that is expanding its global footprint and enhancing its threat intelligence capabilities.

The company is focused on innovation and proactive protection, developing advanced cybersecurity solutions via their cutting-edge technology, expert analysis, and real-time insights. Their comprehensive approach helps organisations across various sectors maintain robust cybersecurity postures.

We are now recruiting for a VP Engineering who will play a key role in the success of this expansion.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead engineering teams and take full responsibility for product development.
2. Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the company's vision.
3. Lead and optimise development processes, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
4. Be responsible for making decisions on architecture, infrastructure, and development tools.
5. Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
6. Collaborate closely with senior management and participate in strategic decisions.
7. Work closely with product and operations teams to create organizational synergy.
8. Manage technology budgets and resources while prioritizing projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of senior development experience, with at least 3 years as VP Engineering/R&D or CTO, preferably in startups.
2. Proven experience managing multiple development teams in the organizations.
3. Deep understanding of technology architecture, cloud infrastructure, databases, security, and DevOps.
4. Strong experience leading the development of complex SaaS applications.
5. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive product architecture.
6. Ability to lead and optimise development processes.
7. Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
