Data Science Researcher

Our client, an early-stage startup, is hiring their first Data Scientist.

The company was founded by Talpiot and ex-8200 alumni, bringing decades of leadership experience in AI technologies and product development.

They are building a platform that leverages Large Models to transform how knowledge workers interact with software, starting with finance teams.

A few months after completing their Seed round, backed by top-tier venture capital firms, the company has launched its first product version, secured paying customers, and is experiencing more market demand than it can currently meet.

Role Description:

As the first Data Scientist on the team, you will work directly with the CTO and CEO—both with extensive backgrounds in data science—as well as design partners, to help build the product from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact during the company's zero-to-one journey, designing and implementing scalable models that will shape the trajectory of both the product and the organization as they pursue their vision of automating operational workflows.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience (data science, algorithm engineering, computer vision, applied science/research, or similar fields).
• Degree in an exact sciences field from a leading university, graduating cum laude – mandatory.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments, taking ownership and translating loosely defined, rapidly evolving requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
• Proven experience in software engineering – strong advantage.
• Management or technical leadership experience – strong advantage.
• Experience with LLMs/NLP – advantage.
• Previous startup experience – advantage.
