Lighting is the biggest thing that changes a room — bigger than furniture, bigger than paint. But it's been totally ignored. Philips Hue is doing $1.5B a year, and somehow most people still live under ceiling glare.
That's the gap. That's the opportunity.
And we're going to own it.
We believe Oasis can be our biggest brand yet. A billion-dollar idea hiding in plain sight. Easy. Beautiful. Emotional.

What we're hiring for
We're looking for a General Manager to lead Oasis — from zero to one.
This is an early-stage, high-ownership role for someone excited to build a $1B brand from the ground up.
This person will:
- Own the full journey to product-market fit: Validate, shape, and launch our first product offering. Drive us to a ~$10M run rate in year one with strong unit economics and deep customer love.
- Test, learn, and iterate like crazy: Lead user testing, market research, and early customer engagement to refine the experience, messaging, pricing, and product—fast.
- Set direction and ensure excellent execution: Focus the team on what matters most across product, brand, marketing, and operations. Prioritize with clarity and ship with urgency.
- Build and lead a dream team: Hire the first key team members across disciplines. Create a high-trust, high-talent environment that moves fast and builds with care.
- Make Oasis iconic: Shape a category-defining product and brand that feels inevitable in hindsight.

The person we're looking for:
- Has sharp judgment — Can navigate ambiguity, connect the dots fast, and make smart decisions using both instinct and insight.
- Is a craftsperson — Obsessive about the details, proud of the work, and deeply committed to building something truly great.
- Is a scrappy operator — Keeps things simple, moves quickly, and finds a way forward—especially when the path isn't clear yet.
- Is a creative thinker — Sees new angles, challenges norms, and isn't afraid to make bold calls to unlock breakthroughs.
- Is a true owner — Feels personally responsible for the outcome, takes full accountability, and thinks like a founder.
- Is deeply collaborative — Brings out the best in partners across product, marketing, ops, and creative. Synthesizes input without losing clarity.
- Is a mensch — Kind, humble, low-ego, no drama. Believes in people, assumes good intent, and makes the team better just by being on it.
We're not looking for someone to manage what exists—we're building something new from scratch.
This person will shape the product, define the brand, and lead the charge to product-market fit—with clarity, urgency, and love for the craft.
