Backend Developer - Node.js

Pixellot, the global leader in automated sports production, is looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced software systems in Node.js, working with cutting-edge technologies in an agile and collaborative environment. As part of your role, you will:

• Design and implement robust backend services using Node.js
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable systems
• Integrate various cloud services and data solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Solve complex technical challenges in real-time video and data-intensive environments
• You will take ownership of a production-grade product, ensuring its stability, scalability, and performance in real-world environments
  
  

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, with strong expertise in Node.js
• Strong experience working with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Hands-on knowledge of messaging systems and databases such as RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments and version control systems like Git
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong collaboration skills
• Passion for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving product needs
  
  

• Experience in embedded or real-time systems
• Background in hardware-software integration
• Prior work in Agile or Scrum environments
