Description
SodaStream is hiring an Engineer for the position of Mechanical Automation Engineer.
Job Description:
- Managing multidisciplinary projects both globally and locally in various fields: robotics, heavy equipment, handling systems, automatic assembly machines precision equipment, and more
- Designing and leading projects from the inisiation phase through all stages until implementation on-site, including overseeing initial runs.
- Approving new machines and integrating them into production.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturing plants, and others.
- Managing subcontractors and leading projects with automation companies both locally and internationally.
- Full-time position with willingness to work extra hours if needed.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant education – Mechanical Engineer
- At least 5 years of experience in project management in mechanical engineering
- High level of English – required
- Strong engineering skills – required
- Experience with SolidWorks software
- Knowledge in robotics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of programmable controllers – an advantage
- Familiarity with mechanical design – an advantage
