Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Low-Level Engineering, you will:

• Design, implement, and optimize low-level software systems using Rust, C++, or C.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Participate in and influence critical architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in high-performance environments.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate low-level components into larger systems.
• Continuously evaluate and propose improvements to existing systems and processes.

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with:

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade low-level systems.
• Expert proficiency in Rust, C++, or C, with a deep understanding of memory management, concurrency, and system architecture.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking protocols.
• A proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
