Head of Financial Unit for a Software Company

A leading company is seeking a Head of Economic Unit / Team Lead Economist for a strategic role involving the leadership of a strong analytical team and involvement in broad financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of economists
• Conduct financial analyses, build forecasts, and generate insights to support decision-making
• Oversee overhead reports and analyze cost structures
• Manage cash flow with a focus on payments related to outsourced personnel
• Lead cross-organizational projects aimed at process improvement and implementing smart workflows
• Collaborate closely with senior management, finance, and HR departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s degree – an advantage)
• Proven experience in managing a team of economists
• Strong expertise in overhead reporting and cost analysis
• Experience in cash flow management, including payments to contractors and outsourced employees
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and implement change
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools – mandatory
