Project Manager – C4I Shelters for Air Defense Systems

An international defense program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the hardware track of a strategic air defense project for a foreign government customer.

This role involves end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of multiple Command and Control (C4I) shelters and associated system integration labs (SIL), ensuring quality, performance, and timely delivery. The position includes managing external contractors, overseeing complex multidisciplinary engineering efforts, and serving as the hardware lead on behalf of the prime contractor.

• Overall responsibility for hardware delivery within the project
• Managing and supervising subcontractors and their deliverables
• Oversight of mechanical design, racks and cabling, environmental systems, and computing hardware
• Ownership of project documentation, scheduling, and risk management
• Leading test planning and participating in acceptance testing (FAT, STW)
• Conducting technical reviews with subcontractors and end customers
• Coordinating logistics, shipping, documentation, and customer delivery processes
• Providing regular reports to senior program leadership

• Experience managing complex hardware-centric projects
• Hands-on experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering tasks
• Strong technical background in computing hardware and systems integration
• Familiarity with system-level test environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with international clients
• Fluent in English; able to work independently and drive processes forward
