Cheezcake is a woman’s brand of comedy under the website Cheezburger, an American based entertainment site to share memes and different aspects of internet culture. As a woman’s brand, Cheezcake is a digital platform for women to cry, laugh, and face the ups and downs of this crazy thing called life, together. In this role, you’ll be writing short-form articles, drawing inspiration from internet culture, comedy, and of course, womanhood. Let your sense of humor guide you through your writing, and don’t be afraid of your feminine side, whatever that means to you. If you believe in yourself as a writer, an independent worker, and are looking for a part-time gig where you can be creative, then this is the job for you. 

Responsibilities: 

● Create and edit high-quality content for Cheezcake 

● Research and stay up-to-date with trends and topics related to women

● Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas that align with Cheezcake’s brand voice and audience 

● Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style 

Qualifications: 

● Basic knowledge of internet trends and social media practices 

● Understanding of online media and audience engagement strategies 

● Experience in content creation and editing is an advantage, but not mandatory 

Skills 

● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail

● Organizational skills 

● Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

● Ability to search and find trending content on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, etc 

This position is remote, but in office training is required.
