Senior Software Engineer

A high tech company in Tel Aviv that deals with e-commerce solutions is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to play a key role in developing the core system. They are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and software development, with hands-on experience in building web applications, particularly with a focus on server-side development in a complex, cloud-based environment.

The core team is responsible for developing critical components of the system, including a multi-tenant, fully customizable checkout experience, APIs for e-commerce platform integration, and secure, end-to-end payment solutions that involve third-party integration. The team also develops the infrastructure required for various operations, ranging from web-based back-office applications to windows services and microservices, as well as integrating with logistics hardware.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience developing end-to-end web applications with ASP.NET MVC/.NET Core.
• At least 1 year of proven experience with .NET Core.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/AJAX/HTML/CSS/JSON.
• Solid grasp of design patterns and OOD/OOP principles.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with writing unit tests using major frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue - an advantage.
• Experience integrating deployment tools (e.g., MS Build, Bitbucket) - an advantage.
• Experience with performance tuning and analysis tools (e.g., NewRelic, AppDynamics, WinDbg, Ants, Perfmon) - an advantage.
• Experience with Agile methodologies - an advantage.
• Experience working with Couchbase and RabbitMQ - an advantage.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure - an advantage.
