Job Overview: Abra is seeking a Senior Tender Manager to join the company's tender team. This role will be key in end-to-end management of tender processes, responsible for identifying, analyzing, forming, and submitting proposals for government, public, and private tenders. The Tender Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating with sales, legal, finance, business development, and technology teams, leading complex tender processes to maximize winning chances and enhance the company’s business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end tender processes in accordance with established organizational procedures and methodologies, from opportunity identification and requirements analysis to full and organized proposal submission, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop strategic responses to tenders in collaboration with various internal experts, adhering to the organization’s frameworks and policies.
- Build competitive proposals and oversee the creation of professional, marketing, and commercial responses to tenders, working closely with sales, marketing, finance, legal, product, and development teams.
- Lead processes involving multiple stakeholders, managing and coordinating all interested parties within the organization, ensuring goals, deadlines, and high-quality submissions are met.
- Analyze RFP/RFI documents and translate them into organizational needs, understanding technical and business requirements, identifying gaps, and tailoring responses to clients, including risk assessment, strengths, and pricing.
- Pricing and commercial proposals – Manage and monitor the creation of price offers, perform economic analyses, and lead intelligent pricing strategies based on market and competitor analysis.
- Continuously improve working methodologies by establishing processes, templates, and dedicated tools to enhance efficiency, submission consistency, and professionalism.
- Knowledge management, reporting, and process documentation, analyzing previous tender outcomes, extracting lessons learned, and preserving relevant organizational knowledge for future improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring all proposals meet legal, standards, security, privacy, and compliance guidelines relevant to the organization.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven, successful experience of 6+ years in responding to complex tenders, including RFP/RFI, from the analysis of requirements to full submission, within technological or global organizations – a must.
- Proven experience in working within technology companies in integration and project management – a must.
- Proven experience in formulating strategic responses to tenders, integrating commercial, legal, and technical elements, and complying with regulatory requirements and strict standards – a must.
- Excellent writing and drafting skills, including preparing high-quality proposal documents, presentations, and professional documentation – a must.
- Experience leading cross-organizational processes, matrix work with senior and technical interfaces, and managing inter-departmental collaborations under challenging deadlines – a must.
- Ability to build and analyze pricing models, including in-depth financial understanding and a broad business perspective – significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, charisma, assertiveness, and the ability to lead complex actions with clients, partners, and institutional bodies.
- Strategic thinking, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with full responsibility in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word – a must.
- Experience working with CRM systems or tender management software – advantageous.
- Relevant academic background – Bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or Economics); Master’s degree – strong advantage.
