Technology Experts Domain Manager for Cyber Department

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to manage and lead the domain of critical infrastructure and core system protection at Israel Railways. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/OT security and the ability to drive and implement strategic protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and define the protection strategy for IT/OT systems and implement it across the organization.
• Build and manage a work plan for supporting projects in this field.
• Review and approve protection envelope documents.
• Establish secure architecture for projects.
• Initiate new protection technologies.
• Analyze emerging cybersecurity threats and risks.
• Identify cybersecurity gaps compared to established practices.
• Represent the department in professional discussions and committees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Academic degree in a technological field, or a degree in another field with a technological unit background from the IDF (such as Mamram, 8200, Communications, or similar units) and/or from a military technological unit (such as BRAM) with professional certifications in cybersecurity/information security totaling 600 hours.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in providing defensive solutions for IT systems.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in working with SOC teams.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in investigating and responding to information security incidents.
• Familiarity with risk assessments and resilience testing.
• Familiarity with secure development processes.
• Experience in managing teams.
