Senior Security Researcher, AI-Driven SOC Automation

Role Description

You’ll lead advanced research into novel attack techniques and design ML-powered detection and response capabilities for our next-gen SOC platform. You’ll mentor the research team, coordinate closely with data science and engineering, and drive publications and patents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security research or offensive security
• Familiar with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools
• Deep understanding of Networking fundamentals technologies (OSI, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Proxies, etc.)
• Deep understanding of SOC workflows, SIEM/EDR architectures, and alert-triage processes - advantage
• Previous experience With AI/ML and SOC automation - advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI/ML pipelines for anomaly detection, behavior analytics, and automated triage

• Perform deep technical research to generate inisights and mitigations

• Levrage and evaluate LLM models for threat detection

• Lead red-team style testing to validate AI-based defenses and tune false-positive/negative trade-offs

• Present research findings internally and at conferences; publish whitepapers and contribute to patents

• Mentor and grow junior researchers; coordinate cross-functional sprints with data engineers and SOC product teams
