Role Description:

As part of a team including BE, DE, and DS engineers, the role involves developing infrastructure for an ML-based product, building data pipelines with Python and Scala. The team deals with massive amounts of data, working at a very high scale. The tech stack includes Kubernetes (K8s), Scala, Python, Spark, Delta Lake, Elasticsearch, Kafka, DynamoDB

Requirements:

• 5 years of coding experience with one of the following: Python, Scala
• End-to-end experience - owning features from an idea stage, through design, architecture, coding, integration, and deployment stages
• Experience with one or more of these technologies: Spark, Flink, MapReduce, Airflow, Kafka, Key/Value Stores like DynamoDB, SQL DB's
• Dealing with data on high volume, high availability production systems
• Fluent with SQL
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience in algorithm design and implementation or Machine learning
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent professional Software Engineering experience
